Christine Adela White

Christine Adela White is an entrepreneur, model, actor, philanthropist and Ms. Vancouver 2015/2016. She is the owner and a teacher of a music education studio where teachers offer lessons in many disciplines, academic tutorship and music therapy (www.cwmusic.ca). She studied at the University of British Columbia, completed her degree in Music and received Golden Key Honour Society recognition (top 15% in academics in her faculty).

Christine is a cyclist with team “Riders for Ryders” in The Ride to Conquer Cancer and has raised over $20,000 for local charities, $13,000 of which for the BC Cancer Foundation. 2016 marks her sixth-year cycling 240KM from Vancouver to Seattle in memory of her sister Laura. She recently returned from the Philippines and assisted Bikes for the Philippines’ initiative in providing bikes and gear for underprivileged, high-risk-drop-out children who walk ~ 3 – 5KM to school.

Recognizing the need to do more for the Philippines, her mother’s home country, Christine is flying back in December 2016 alongside teachers and students of a charity tribute band dubbed “unsung”. Musicians are as young as 10 years old! www.cwmusic.ca/fundraising

With Vancouver Television, she plans on continuing to raise awareness for charities close to her heart, whilst encouraging others to do the same by giving other fundraising activists a voice to share their initiatives.

Fiona Forbes

Fiona, who is best known for her many years hosting Vancouver’s hit TV Talk Show THE RUSH, loves her work. “I get to meet so many interesting people and hear their stories. I’ve lost count, but I think I’ve interviewed over 25,000 people over the last 20 years!”

She has interviewed A-listers to Prime Ministers, rock stars to astrophysicists and is a proud pop culture fanatic, social media addict and a self-professed geek…perhaps best described by Hollywood guru Larry Moss who called her a woman with “chutzpah who reminds me of Lucille Ball”.

While Fiona loves her TV work, she also has a passion for supporting many charities with her talents including Canucks Autism Network, CKNW Kid’s Fund, Pink Shirt Day, Dress for Success, Ronald McDonald House and Easter Seals.

Fiona is currently a freelance TV Host and Producer and Editor in Chief of Glacier Media’s Vancouver Living Magazine and is excited to be working with the Vancouver Television team!
