adidas puts sand-filled bubbles in its new ADWYSD sneakers

A skate-and-surf collaboration adds a little beach to the CLIMACOOL 1.

Sand in your sneakers is usually a problem. For adidas Originals and London skate-and-surf label Always Do What You Should Do, it is part of the design: their CLIMACOOL 1 collaboration has sand-filled tongue bubbles.

The two versions also feature glow-in-the-dark vents and lenticular heels. One uses a weather-map graphic; that version is exclusive to the brand and adidas CONFIRMED.

The collection launches October 28 through adidas, CONFIRMED, Always Do What You Should Do and selected retailers. Canadian pricing and local stock have not been confirmed.
