Your coffee stop now comes with its own rings of light. % Arabica’s new Oakridge Park kiosk in Vancouver wraps its counter in overlapping oak rings, creating a small pavilion in the shopping centre’s public atrium.

The Kyoto-born brand identifies the location as its eighth Canadian store and 247th worldwide. It collaborated with Studio Precht on the design, which combines illuminated wooden ribs with open cut-outs so people can watch the coffee being made from several sides.

The curves are part of the setting, too. The designer’s notes describe how the kiosk responds to the atrium’s fluted columns and flowing sculptures, while fitting ordering, pickup and work areas into the freestanding structure.

The official store directory lists the Oakridge Park location at Unit 3590, 650 West 41st Avenue in Vancouver. This is the shopping-centre kiosk, distinct from the brand’s earlier downtown gallery pop-up. Consult the official location page for current visiting details.
