Disney’s new Ariel doll takes its fashion cues from jellyfish
An underwater ballet inspired this shimmering collector doll, arriving online October 23.

Ariel’s latest wardrobe change takes a cue from another sea creature. Disney has revealed a limited-edition designer doll with a dress inspired by the flowing movement of jellyfish.
The doll belongs to the Disney Designer Dolls Dance Series. Designer J. Fuchs imagined what ballet could look like underwater, translating that idea into sheer skirt layers, curled metallic ribbon and iridescent bubble details. The result gives the Little Mermaid a different silhouette from her familiar film outfits.
Disney says Ariel launches on DisneyStore.com on October 23, 2026. Select Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort locations follow on October 26. These are announced release dates, not a claim that the doll is already on sale.
Canadian pricing and availability have not been confirmed. Collectors planning a purchase should check Disney’s own listing when it opens, rather than assume the US park release means a Canadian retail launch.
