Burnaby has a free evening option for Halloween weekend. In its October 1 announcement, the city confirmed Central Spark for Friday, October 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Central Park around Kingsway and Patterson Avenue.
The plan includes a DJ dance party, food trucks, live entertainment, a drone display and a fireworks finale. The city lists fireworks at 7:30 p.m.; the event page notes that the drone display depends on the weather.
This is a scheduled local event, so check the city’s event information again before heading out for weather notices and access changes. Admission is free, but food purchases are separate. Transit is worth considering because the city has announced road closures and parking restrictions around the site.
October 30, 2026, 6–8 p.m., Central Park, Burnaby. Free admission; fireworks scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Check city updates before travelling.
