Village in the Shade comes to Nintendo Switch 2—plus an Art Book & Soundtrack DLC

Cozy countryside farming in Kagatsu, where your homestead life comes with secrets… and rules.

If you like your games calm, charming, and slightly suspicious, Village in the Shade is heading to Nintendo Switch 2. You’ll settle into Kagatsu, a Japanese mountain village packed with secrets.

This is a “hand-painted farming sim” where you’ll plant crops, customize your homestead, and meet characters who clearly aren’t just here for the weather.

Nintendo’s listing also includes downloadable content: Village in the Shade - Art Book & Soundtrack, marked as 10/27/26 and priced at $19.99.
