If the phrase PSOne-era horror makes your nostalgia itch, good news: Derelikt is coming to PlayStation 5 on November 13. The “90s style sci-fi horror” pitch is real, and the setting is appropriately grim—an outpost bolted onto an anomalous asteroid.
You step in as an outside contractor to figure out what happened to Excavation Team Delta. But when the halls are dark, systems are failing, and survivors don’t tell the same story, the mystery turns into something worse fast.
The game leans into retro atmosphere with hand-painted textures, vertex colour lighting, and deliberately implemented texture warping—plus lots of traditional weapons and odd prototypes waiting to be found.
