Anna and Elsa have a new storybook-style adventure on the way

Disney’s October Frozen Fan Fest announcement includes a new animated short.

Originally announced October 1, 2026

Frozen fans have a smaller-screen story to look out for this month. On October 1, Disney announced The Night Before the Royal Fitting, a new Disney Off the Page Adventures tale planned for Disney Kids YouTube during October.

The story follows Anna after her engagement as she and Elsa get ready for a special occasion in Arendelle. Disney describes the presentation as storybook-style animation, making this a short-form addition to the Frozen world.

The announcement also connects the short to a Mattel Slumber Sister Set featuring Anna, Elsa and Olaf. An exact upload day was not stated in the announcement, so readers should check the official channel for its current release status. Product availability varies by retailer and country.
