Vans puts gemstones on a sneaker designed to unravel
The navy Satoshi Nakamoto collaboration is already out of stock on Vans’ US shop.

A little sparkle, a lot of scuff. OTW by Vans and Los Angeles fashion label Satoshi Nakamoto have given the Era 95 Gems a navy makeover, pairing colourful stones with deliberately distressed canvas.
The upper tears away with wear to reveal checkerboard underneath. Beads on the laces and exposed foam add to the handmade-looking finish.
Vans announced an October 16 release at US$195. Its US product page currently shows Out of Stock and a notification option, so this is a look at the release, not an in-stock shopping recommendation. Canadian availability and a restock have not been confirmed.
