Xbox has introduced a smaller way to bring a controller along. The Nano is just over five inches long and weighs 3.5 ounces, making it a compact option for travelling players and smaller hands.
The miniature design retains 18 standard gameplay inputs. It includes a rechargeable battery, wireless connectivity and a programmable Action Button for shortcuts such as screenshots and gameplay capture.
Preorders opened October 14 at an announced US price of US$49.99. Microsoft says availability begins in November across a list of markets that includes Canada. An exact Canadian launch day and Canadian price have not been confirmed in the announcement; local pricing and availability vary.
The Nano's appeal is portability rather than a new console. Check the official product listing for device compatibility and local purchase details before ordering.
November launch includes Canada; exact day and Canadian price unconfirmed. Announced US preorder price US$49.99.
