OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

Heart of the Beast Vancouver Advance Screening Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsors and contest period

The Heart of the Beast Vancouver Advance Screening Contest (the “Contest”) is presented by Paramount Pictures and Vancouver Television (collectively, the “Sponsors”). The Contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on September 3, 2026 and closes at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on September 20, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). The Sponsors’ server is the official timekeeping device.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of British Columbia who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents and immediate family or household members of the Sponsors, the film’s production and distribution entities, participating exhibitors, prize suppliers, advertising or promotion agencies, and each of their respective affiliates are not eligible. “Immediate family” means a parent, sibling, child or spouse, regardless of residence.

3. How to enter

During the Contest Period, visit this page, complete all required fields, confirm eligibility and acceptance of these Rules, and submit the form. Limit one entry per person and per email address. Automated, scripted, bulk, duplicate, incomplete, late, misdirected or fraudulent entries are void. Entrants are responsible for internet access and any ordinary connection charges. No purchase is necessary.

4. Prize

There is one (1) prize available, consisting of four (4) passes to the Vancouver advance screening of Heart of the Beast scheduled for September 23, 2026. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) is CAD $66, based on four regular adult general-admission tickets at an approximate Vancouver Cineplex price of $16.50 each. The actual retail value may vary; no difference between stated and actual value will be awarded. Screening venue and time will be communicated to the confirmed winner. Transportation, parking, food, accommodations and all other costs are excluded. The prize has no cash value, is non-transferable and may not be substituted, sold or redeemed for cash, except that the Sponsors may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. The Sponsors are not responsible if the screening or film release is delayed, cancelled or changed for reasons beyond their reasonable control.

5. Draw, odds and winner confirmation

On or about September 21, 2026 in Vancouver, BC, one eligible entry will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The selected entrant will be contacted using the phone number or email supplied and must respond within 24 hours. Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must, without assistance, correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility, compliance and release. Failure to respond on time, failure to answer correctly, inability to attend, or non-compliance with these Rules may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate entrant.

6. Guests and attendance

The confirmed winner is responsible for selecting three guests. Each guest must comply with the venue’s admission, conduct, security, recording-device and other policies. A guest who is under the age of majority must attend with their parent or legal guardian, who may need to be the winner or one of the guests. The winner and guests must arrive at the time directed and present identification if requested. The Sponsors may deny or end attendance for unsafe, disruptive or unlawful conduct.

7. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the entry form is collected and used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, contact the selected entrant, prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries, deliver the prize and meet legal obligations. Information may be shared only with the Sponsors and service providers who need it for those purposes, or where required by law. Entry information will not be used to subscribe entrants to marketing communications. Reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards will be used, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Non-winning entry records should be securely deleted when no longer reasonably required for Contest administration or legal compliance.

8. Release and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsors and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, prize suppliers, participating theatres and advertising or promotion agencies from claims arising from participation, acceptance or use of the prize, or attendance at the screening, except to the extent caused by a released party’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct or where a release is prohibited by law. The Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected or incompatible entries; interrupted networks or systems; technical, human or printing errors; unauthorized intervention; or events outside their reasonable control.

9. Publicity

Where permitted by law, the confirmed winner agrees that the Sponsors may announce the winner’s first name, last initial and city in connection with the Contest without additional compensation. Any broader use of the winner’s image, voice or likeness will be subject to separate consent.

10. General conditions

The Sponsors may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, acts disruptively, attempts to obtain more than the permitted number of entries, supplies false information or otherwise violates these Rules. If the Contest cannot operate as intended because of fraud, technical failure, security incident, force majeure or another cause beyond reasonable control, the Sponsors may suspend, modify or terminate it, subject to applicable law, and may select a winner from eligible entries received before the interruption. Decisions of the Sponsors concerning the administration of the Contest are final, subject to applicable law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

11. Governing law

The Contest and these Rules are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of British Columbia, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

These rules are a practical contest draft and are not a substitute for review by the Sponsors’ legal counsel. Film title, artwork, names and related marks are the property of their respective owners.
