The WNBA announced on Oct. 13, 2026 that Games 3 and 4 of the WNBA Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream will be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Game 3, which had originally been scheduled for Oct. 22, has been moved to Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 8:00 p.m. ET, and will air on USA Network and CNBC while streaming on Peacock.

Game 4 will remain on Saturday, Oct. 24, but the tip time has been moved to 1:00 p.m. ET from 3:30 p.m. ET. The league said the game will continue to air on NBC and stream on Peacock.

The WNBA stated the venue and schedule updates are designed to accommodate the Dream on Oct. 24. To reflect that adjustment, the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks agreed to move the start time of their regular-season home opener that evening, changing the matchup with the Houston Rockets to 8:30 p.m. ET from 8:00 p.m. ET.

WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said the league is grateful for the efforts of multiple stakeholders, including the Dream, the Valkyries, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, and NBC Sports and USA Sports. Engelbert said the change of venue expands seating capacity and is intended to help the Dream provide an “extraordinary atmosphere” for the first WNBA Finals game in the Atlanta market since 2013.

Atlanta Dream majority owner Larry Gottesdiener said the schedule and venue change is what players and fans deserve, and he thanked the stakeholders involved in resolving conflicts to make the plan possible. Andrew Saltzman, Atlanta Hawks President of Business Enterprise and Chief Commercial Officer of the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, said the organization is “thrilled” to host Games 3 and 4 at State Farm Arena and wants the Dream to feel full support from the city during the Finals run.

The WNBA reiterated that the best-of-seven Finals follow a 2-2-1-1-1 format and begin with Game 1 at Chase Center in San Francisco. The No. 2-seed Valkyries will host the No. 4-seed Dream in Game 1 on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT, airing on NBC and Peacock, followed by Game 2 on Monday, Oct. 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on USA Network, CNBC and Peacock.

Tickets for Games 3 and 4 will go on sale to the general public Friday, Oct. 16 at 10:00 a.m. ET, according to the WNBA. The league said sales will be available at atlantadream.com.

The WNBA’s announcement also confirmed that, after the Atlanta schedule adjustments, Game 3 is set for Oct. 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET, and Game 4 is set for Oct. 24 at 1:00 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena.
