Kelsey Mitchell set a new WNBA season scoring record with 33 points as the Indiana Fever defeated the Toronto Tempo 103-85 on Friday night, improving to eight wins in 10 games, the league reported in its game recap. Caitlin Clark contributed 28 points and matched a season high with 14 assists for Indiana.

Mitchell’s scoring total surpassed a prior season benchmark from A’ja Wilson of Las Vegas.
