Alexia Danielsson confirmed as TeamViewer Wild Card for F1 ACADEMY Austin round

F1 ACADEMY has confirmed Swedish racer Alexia Danielsson as the Wild Card entry for Round 5 of the 2026 F1 ACADEMY season in Austin. Danielsson will represent TeamViewer, the series’ Official Partner, behind the wheel of the #45 TeamViewer-operated car run by Hitech, making her F1 ACADEMY debut during the United States Grand Prix weekend at Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

The #45 car will feature a special edition TeamViewer livery tied to the Forward Together campaign, the team said. The design includes 250 women intended to reflect communities supporting women’s career progression on and off the track, with those featured described as coming from groups focused on leadership development, advancing women in technology, empowering the next generation in STEM, strengthening professional networks, and driving greater inclusion in motorsport and automotive industries.

Danielsson, 17, began racing single-seaters in 2022, progressing from Aquilia Formula 1000 to Nordic 4 two years later, and recorded her first F1 ACADEMY victory last season. The series added that she won on debut in Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia in 2025, and then delivered a points-scoring rookie season in the F4 CEZ Championship in 2026.

Ahead of the Austin round, Danielsson said it was “absolutely amazing” to have the Wild Card confirmed for F1 ACADEMY during an F1 weekend at COTA, adding that her main goal is to learn as much as possible and to be as prepared as she can be for the possibility of a full-season grid place next year.

Karin Fink, Head of Commercial Operations at F1 ACADEMY, said motorsports is supported by many communities and welcomed the campaign’s focus on communities inspiring change for women. Faith Wheller, VP of Brand and Sports Partnerships at TeamViewer, added that Forward Together highlights the role communities play in careers and framed the livery as a way to support young talent while featuring women who have helped the next generation in other industries.
