NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Hany Mukhtar added another chapter to his MLS legacy with a milestone performance as Nashville SC defeated Toronto FC 2-0 at GEODIS Park on Saturday. The former Landon Donovan MLS MVP scored his 100th MLS goal in the first half, netting twice as the Coyotes secured the win to further strengthen their position in the 2026 race for the league’s postseason and top regular-season honours.

According to the league, Mukhtar’s 100th goal came in the form of a first-half brace and became Nashville SC’s key turning point against Toronto FC. The league record was compiled across Mukhtar’s MLS career, totaling 95 goals in regular season play and five goals in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. He is listed as the 16th player in MLS history to reach 100 MLS goals.

The achievement also marks a unique first within MLS’s player history. Mukhtar is identified as the first German-born player to hit the 100 MLS-goal mark, underscoring how long his scoring production has remained among the league’s highest levels. He is noted by MLS as the only active player besides Columbus Crew striker Josef Martínez to have reached 100 goals.

Mukhtar’s milestone also reflects the season’s momentum. In 2026, he is listed as having 13 goals and seven assists, and the league indicates he has reached at least 20 goal contributions in five of the last six seasons. The league further specifies that seven of his goals have come since the 2026 FIFA World Cup break.

Across all competitions this year, Mukhtar is identified as leading Nashville SC with 108 goals and 74 assists for the Coyotes. His output continues to carry Nashville’s attack into the closing stages of the campaign, particularly as the club pursues its first major MLS trophy in club history.

Nashville SC’s run has already been rewarded with postseason certainty.
