Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald says Sam Darnold will miss Sunday’s game against the visiting Arizona Cardinals with a quad injury.
The Story
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold will be sidelined with a quad injury for Sunday’s matchup against the visiting Arizona Cardinals, head coach Mike Macdonald announced Wednesday.
Macdonald said Darnold is considered week-to-week and will not be placed on injured reserve.
According to Macdonald, Darnold cracked a rib on the second play of Monday’s loss to the Chicago Bears before suffering the quad injury late in the game.
Macdonald also said Drew Lock is dealing with an elbow injury, and that if Lock is available, he is slated to start with Jalen Milroe backing him up against the Cardinals.
