The Seattle Seahawks play the Arizona Cardinals at Lumen Field on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 4:25 p.m. ET, with major quarterback and injury updates on both rosters.
The Story
Seattle will host Arizona in an NFC West matchup at Lumen Field in Seattle on Sunday, Nov. 8, with kick-off set for 4:25 p.m. ET (1:25 p.m. PT / 9:25 p.m. GMT). The game is listed as Week 9 of the NFL regular season.
Both teams enter the contest dealing with quarterback changes driven by recent injuries and roster moves. Seattle has ruled starting quarterback Sam Darnold out with a quadriceps injury and a cracked rib, and Drew Lock is set to start after being cleared following a right-elbow issue; rookie Jalen Milroe is expected to serve as the backup.
Arizona, meanwhile, has officially named Gardner Minshew as QB1 after his comeback performance against the Dallas Cowboys last week. Jacoby Brissett is no longer with the team after being traded to the Baltimore Ravens on Friday.
The Seahawks’ injury situation also extends beyond the quarterback position. Seattle has ruled out seven players, including Quenton Nelson and Charles Cross on the offensive line, with Leonard Williams and Uchenna Nwosu also listed as out on defense. On offense, Rashid Shaheed is ruled out with a knee injury, increasing the pressure on Seattle’s receiving corps that includes Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp.
Arizona’s lineup is healthier in comparison, but there are notable absences and question marks. The Cardinals have ruled out guard Jon Gaines II and tackle Jayden Williams; they also have Isaiah Adams listed as Questionable after his 21-day practice window was opened. Running back Bam Knight is out with a concussion, with Tyler Allgeier and Evan Hull set to handle rushing work alongside James Conner, who is already on injured reserve.
As for game viewing, the listing provides FOX (and FOX One) and Fubo in the United States, with DAZN Game Pass in the United Kingdom.
