The Story
The Vancouver Canucks will wrap up their current six-game road trip out east on October 17, 2026, when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning at 1:00 pm PT at Benchmark International Arena.
Vancouver has gone 0–4–1 so far on the trip heading into the final matchup. Starting in net is Kevin Lankinen, his first start since October 11 against the New York Rangers. On the season, Lankinen is posted with a 6.88 GAA and a .786 SV% and, in his last game, he stopped 19 of 25 shots.
The Canucks will make changes to their lineup for the game. Marco Rossi will not play, according to the team, as he is feeling under the weather, and Luke Schenn is also out after sitting out on Thursday. Arshdeep Bains is set to draw into the lineup.
The projected Canucks forward groups include DeBrusk–Pettersson–Lekkerimäki, Cotter–Chytil–Boeser, Öhgren–O'Connor–Karlsson, and Bains–Sasson–Gallagher.
On defence, Vancouver will retain the D-pairings they iced on Thursday, with Oleksiak paired with Willander and Buium paired with Mancini.
