The Story
The Seattle Seahawks activated running back Zach Charbonnet off the physically unable to perform list Thursday morning, bringing him onto the team’s 53-man roster.
In a corresponding move, tight end Elijah Arroyo was placed on injured reserve.
The activation came after Charbonnet’s 21-day practice window, which began Oct. 1, ended on Thursday. The team would not have been able to activate him later in the 2026 season if it had not been done on this date.
Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald said Charbonnet would “have a full week’s worth of reps,” adding that he was on track after practicing in full on Wednesday. Macdonald did not provide a clear indication on whether Charbonnet will play in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Charbonnet’s designation as activated does not necessarily mean he is fully healthy, and his status will be reflected in the team’s final injury report on Friday and the inactives list released 90 minutes before Sunday Night Football’s 5:20 p.m. PDT kickoff.
