Several Metro Vancouver events run through Sept. 11–13, including car shows, community festivals and family-focused celebrations.

A busy stretch of events is scheduled across Metro Vancouver for the weekend of Sept. 11–13, with options ranging from family markets and cultural celebrations to music festivals and car gatherings.
On Saturday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13, the annual Langley Good Times Cruise-In brings car-focused entertainment to the area, with activities described as featuring a wide range of vehicles and food, and taking place in Downtown Aldergrove.
Car lovers also have a separate opportunity on Saturday, Sept. 12, when Weissach’s Cars & Coffee is slated to meet at the Spanish Banks parking lots, offering a morning get-together built around vehicles, coffee and treats.
For families looking for a community and business marketplace, the North Shore Kids Festival is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 13 at The Shipyards, featuring more than 50 young entrepreneurs and approximately 80 local organizations and businesses serving children and families, including schools, arts studios, childcare providers, sports programs and children’s clothing boutiques.
Car-free community festivals also return to Metro Vancouver for September under the Car Free Days banner presented by TransLink, with the Main Street Car Free Days listed for Sunday, Sept. 13.
Elsewhere in the region, Taves Family Farms continues its Magic of Fall season with a newly described “Autumn’s Lane” attraction running from Sept. 12 through Oct. 31 at Taves Family Farms, with the event presented as illuminated and designed for visits such as photo opportunities and family outings.
In the City Centre, Picklefest Vancouver is set for Saturday, Sept. 12 at the City Centre Artist Lodge, offering a day-long festival for pickle fans.
For those planning to attend a major music festival during the same weekend window, the Barnside Harvest Festival runs from Friday, Sept. 11 through Sunday, Sept. 13 at Paterson Park in Ladner, featuring multiple stages and described headliners including Smash Mouth, Tom Cochrane and Marianas Trench.
The weekend also includes a cultural event in Langley: stɑl’əw̓ Pow Wow is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11 through Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Langley Events Centre, described as the fifth annual pow wow and one of the largest events of its kind in Metro Vancouver, offering opportunities to learn about Indigenous ways of being and knowledge shared across generations.
With these events distributed across multiple municipalities—Langley, Ladner, North Vancouver and Vancouver proper—the weekend presents a range of day-trip options for different interests, from car events and local markets to large-scale festivals and family-focused programming.
