Ahead of a Wednesday, Nov. 4 meeting in Seattle, a betting analyst priced the Calgary Flames and Seattle Kraken as a near-even matchup and leaned toward Calgary options.

In a game preview published Nov. 4, 2026, betting analyst Neil Parker said his “favourite Flames vs. Kraken prediction” calls for a Calgary upset, describing the matchup as a “coin-flip.”
Parker’s top pick was the Flames moneyline, supported by his model projecting Calgary a 50% chance to win.
He pointed to Seattle having the second-highest PDO at 5-on-5 in the league while ranking last in Corsi For percentage and 29th in expected goals percentage. Parker also cited Seattle’s highest team shooting percentage at 5-on-5 as a factor in his view that the Kraken’s results could regress, while he noted Calgary’s rankings of 12th in CF%, 10th in xGF% and last in PDO.
For a combined bet, Parker recommended an under in addition to a Calgary side, targeting “Flames moneyline” with “Under 6.5.”
He also outlined two player options: a Matvei Gridin prop of “2+ shots” and a Berkly Catton points prop of “1+ points.” Parker cited Gridin recording two or more shots in 10 of 15 games, and he said Catton has posted a six-game point streak with two goals and five assists.
As another goal-scoring option, Parker suggested Yegor Sharangovich to score, noting Sharangovich had gone seven games without a goal and citing a season shooting percentage of 8.0%, alongside recent increases in shots and attempts.
Parker’s preview also listed the game’s posted wagering probabilities at the time of publication: Flames 45% and Kraken 56% on the moneyline, an Over/Under 6.5 of Over 6.5 (45%) and Under 6.5 (56%), and a spread of Flames +1.5 (68%) versus Kraken -1.5 (34%).
