The Story
The Los Angeles Lakers have released their injury report ahead of their Oct. 27 game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Crypto.com Arena.
Walker Kessler is the only player listed as available despite a finger injury. He is wearing a splint and is required to remain on the injury report even though he has not missed a game, with the injury suffered during training camp.
Cameron Carr and Adou Thiero are both listed as out. Carr is dealing with a strained right oblique and has yet to make his NBA debut, while Thiero has swelling in his left knee.
In the team’s return timeline, Lakers head coach JJ Redick indicated Carr and Thiero are considered day-to-day, with their next chance to play coming on Oct. 28 against the LA Clippers.
Heading into the matchup with Portland, the Lakers have started the season 3-0, including a come-from-behind 132-123 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday led by Luka Doncic’s 52-point performance.
