A public hearing into allegations of police misconduct tied to the death of Myles Gray is set to resume Sept. 28 at UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver.

The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner (OPCC) will resume a public hearing into allegations of police misconduct surrounding the death of Myles Gray beginning on Sept. 28.
The proceedings will be held at the University of British Columbia’s Robson Square location at 800 Robson Street in downtown Vancouver, with sessions scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. throughout the hearing schedule.
The hearing’s next stretch runs Sept. 28 and 29 in Room C440, followed by an additional sitting on Oct. 1 in Room C440.
After that, the OPCC has scheduled multi-day sessions for Oct. 13 through Oct. 16 in Room C575, and for Nov. 16 through Nov. 19 in the same room.
The schedule then continues with hearings from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 in Room C575, followed by two dates—Dec. 16 and Dec. 18—in Room C440.
The OPCC says further hearing dates may be set to address requests by respondent members to use testimony they previously gave at the coroner’s inquest. Any changes to the listed dates and times will be announced on the OPCC website.
The OPCC also advised that seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis for members of the public attending in person.
For those who cannot attend at the venue, the OPCC says the proceedings will be audio streamed on its website.
While the public hearing is underway, the OPCC will not provide commentary.
