Canucks, NHL and Fanatics unveil Hometown Remix uniform for six 2026-27 games

The Vancouver Canucks, NHL and Fanatics have unveiled the team’s Hometown Remix uniform as part of a league-wide program for the 2026-27 season.

The Story

The Vancouver Canucks, NHL and Fanatics unveiled the club’s Hometown Remix uniform on November 2, 2026, describing the special edition look as one that celebrates the fans, fabric and culture of Vancouver.

The league-wide program is for all 32 clubs and the Canucks’ uniform was developed in collaboration with Fanatics, the League’s on-ice uniform provider, and the NHL, as the culmination of a two-year development process.

Vancouver will wear the Hometown Remix uniforms six times during the 2026-27 season, starting Friday, November 13, when the club hosts the New York Rangers at Rogers Arena.

The Canucks are scheduled to wear the uniforms on the following dates: Saturday, November 21 at 8:00 p.m. against the Minnesota Wild; Friday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. against the Buffalo Sabres; Tuesday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. against the Pittsburgh Penguins; Saturday, February 20 at 8:00 p.m. against the Colorado Avalanche; and Wednesday, March 3 at 8:00 p.m. against the Chicago Blackhawks.

According to the Canucks, each Hometown Remix uniform was designed around its respective city and fanbase, with design elements intended to draw on local landmarks, motifs and culture. For Vancouver, the team says the jersey is inspired by “Vancouver at night—sky, water, glass, and the home of the Canucks, illuminated in the heart of it all,” and includes a stealth-mode orca in deep blues with shining silver eyes.

The club also says the sleeves feature an abstract deboss of the skyline reflecting in the bay, the hem nods to the lions guarding Lions Gate Bridge, and the custom name and number system includes a V-notch detail intended to feel handcrafted and hometown.

Brian Jennings, NHL Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Partnerships and Club Strategy Officer, said: “Few symbols in sports carry the history, pride, and emotional connection of an NHL sweater.” He added that Hometown Remix is meant to celebrate “the fans, culture and communities that make each NHL market unique,” and said the designs were created to be rooted in local identity.

Fanatics Vice President of Creative Design Dom Fillion said the program represents “the most exciting initiative our team has designed and delivered with our partners since we hit the ice with the NHL in 2024,” adding that the collaboration leans into the history, culture, fabric and identity of each city and fan base.

The teams’ Hometown Remix jerseys—both the on-ice Authentic Pro and Premium versions—as well as headwear and men’s and women’s fan gear, including hoodies, tees and new fleece and outerwear styles, are described as available beginning November 2 across the Fanatics network of sites, including NHLShop.com, NHLShop.ca and Fanatics.com, along with team stores and the NHL Shop NYC flagship store.
