October brings a packed calendar of fall activities across Metro Vancouver, from pumpkin patches and Halloween-themed attractions to markets, community events and ongoing museum programming.
Pumpkin patches with set seasonal runs start early and continue through the end of October in multiple communities. At Taves Family Farms, “Autumn Lane” runs from September 12 to October 31. Maan Farms’ “Fall at the Farm” runs from September 12 to November 1, while Greendale Acres’ “The Great Pumpkin Patch” is scheduled for September 19 to October 31. For visitors looking for shorter windows, Harris Pumpkin Patch lists dates of October 13 until sold out, and Petey’s Pumpkin Patch at Fantasy Farms runs from October 2 to October 31.
Halloween events range from large-scale fright experiences to family-friendly outings. “Fright Festival” at Maan Farms runs October 2 to 31, and Playland’s “Fright Nights” is scheduled for October 7 to 31. Cougar Creek’s House of Horrors runs October 2 to November 1, and Haney Haunted House is listed for September 27 to November 2.
