Satinderjeet Singh, charged over the 2023 killing of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar outside a Surrey temple, has been added to the FBI’s Top Ten most-wanted list with a reward of up to $1 million.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has added Satinderjeet Singh, also known as “Goldy Brar,” to its Top Ten fugitives list, charging him in connection with the June 2023 assassination of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, British Columbia.
Singh was charged in July for his alleged role in ordering Nijjar’s killing, which took place outside a Sikh temple in Surrey. The FBI says Singh is based in the United States.
In a release, Patrick Grandy, FBI Los Angeles Field Office Assistant Director in Charge, said the FBI and partners are prioritizing Singh’s apprehension and that placing him on the Top Ten list is meant to increase worldwide attention to his face and identifying information.
Grandy said the FBI is offering a reward of up to $1 million for Singh’s capture. He added that the listing will be posted on FBI-affiliated websites and social media platforms and publicized broadly until Singh is arrested.
The FBI alleges Singh is connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group. According to the FBI, the group is involved in a range of violent offences in southern California and across the United States and Canada, including targeted assassinations, shootings, murders, kidnappings, extortions and assaults.
The FBI also says the alleged enterprise is tied to trafficking in narcotics and weapons, framing Singh’s case as part of an ongoing effort to identify and arrest people charged in connection with violence linked to the Bishnoi group.
The Canadian government designated the Bishnoi enterprise as a terrorist entity in September 2025. The FBI also points to an earlier incident in which Bishnoi claimed responsibility for a shooting at the Vancouver home of an Indian actor and singer, warning in Punjabi via a Facebook post that “no one can save you from us.”
