Mladenovic said school districts should be allowed to set school tax rates, and he answered yes to teaching drug awareness in high school.
On whether elementary track meets should be more inclusive, he answered no and said the focus should be on supporting achievement and developing a passion for sport at an early age.
He answered yes to providing more outdoor education opportunities.
Mladenovic answered no to banning artificial intelligence in schools, saying it should have guidelines set by people who understand the technology and its limits.
For cellphones in Richmond schools, he answered yes to banning them.
On staffing, he said teachers are not adequately paid and answered yes to having more educational support workers in schools.
He also answered yes in support of SOGI policies in Richmond schools.
