The Story
British Columbia NDP leader David Eby is campaigning in Vancouver and Richmond on Thursday after wrapping his swing through the vote-rich city of Surrey with a rally on Wednesday.
Hundreds of people attended the rally near City Hall as Eby made six stops in the Surrey-Delta area during the day, meeting with seniors and visiting a trucking company.
Meanwhile, interim BC Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson is set to make an announcement in British Columbia’s second-largest city, where 10 ridings are up for grabs, with a rally in Surrey planned later tonight after advance voting wrapped up on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s election.
