Carolina announced on Monday that forward Taylor Hall has been placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury.
The Story
The Carolina Hurricanes have placed forward Taylor Hall on injured reserve, the team announced.
The move comes after Hall missed the past few games with an upper-body injury.
Carolina’s next game is against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday evening, with the contest set for the road.
Hall has recorded five points (three goals, two assists) in eight games during the 2026-27 season, according to NHL.com.
NHL.com also noted that Hall is “three games shy of 1,000 in the NHL,” with 792 points (305 goals, 487 assists) in 997 games before the 2026-27 season.
To help manage roster needs while Hall is sidelined, the Hurricanes have recalled prospects Bradley Nadeau and Felix Unger Sorum from the AHL.
The team also indicated that Seth Jarvis’s activation is approaching; Jarvis was travelling with Carolina but had not yet been cleared to play at the time of the report.
