Edmonton has announced goalie Devon Levi will start against the Vancouver Canucks, with Zach Hyman listed as not playing.

The Edmonton Oilers have announced that goalie Devon Levi will start in goal for their game against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday.

The move marks Levi’s regular-season debut with Edmonton.

A tweet posted on Oct. 1 by Jason Gregor also listed Edmonton’s projected starting lineup, with Levi set to start and Hyman not playing.

Levi spent the 2025-26 season with Buffalo’s AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, posting a 23-20-9 record in 52 games with a .904 save percentage and a 2.83 goals-against average.

Levi last played in the NHL in 2024-25 with the Buffalo Sabres, going 2-7-0 with an .872 save percentage and a 4.12 goals-against average across nine games.

Across 39 career NHL games over three seasons, Levi has recorded a 17-17-2 record with a .894 save percentage and a 3.29 goals-against average.
