The image also includes a frowny-faced blue hockey puck with the year “2027” printed on it, suggesting the timing of the next reveal. The arena, home to the Vancouver Canucks and the Vancouver Warriors, did not provide details about the act in the teaser.
The Arena’s concert schedule referenced alongside the announcement includes Hans Zimmer’s The Next Level Tour on Thursday, April 8, with music drawn from Zimmer’s catalogue, including pieces associated with films such as Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight and Interstellar.
Rogers Arena’s lineup also notes the Carly Rae Jepsen – Day and Night Tour stopping at the Orpheum Theatre on Sunday, April 18, in support of her album Day and Night.
