Spooktacular: 9 Halloween attractions and events in Metro Vancouver for 2026

A mix of family-friendly and ticketed Halloween events is running across Metro Vancouver in October and early November 2026, including immersive attractions in Surrey and Vancouver.

The Story

Guildford Town Centre in Surrey is hosting Secrets of the Haunted Bog, running Oct. 9 to 31, Monday to Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m. The free experience is at 10355 152 St. (lower level, across from the play park near entrance 6) and invites visitors to explore an immersive haunted “bog” with low-light conditions, water-based haunted haze, animatronics and mysterious creatures. Visitors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Surrey Food Bank.

PNE Fright Nights at Hastings Park in Vancouver runs Oct. 7 to 31, closed Mondays and Tuesdays, with hours from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. or midnight on weekends. The event is at 2901 East Hastings St. and tickets cost $39 to $59, with date-specific tickets capped and advance rapid passes available online for priority access. The attraction features seven haunted houses, including The Void, Carn-Evil and Keepers Doll Factory, plus the live theatrical horror Trials of the Night inspired by the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 on select nights and 15+ thrill rides. The event notes it is not recommended for those under 13, seniors 65+, people with sensitivity to strobe lighting or fog machines, people with high blood pressure or heart conditions, pregnant women, or “scaredy-cats.”

Halloween at the Museum of Vancouver includes multiple ticketed events at 1100 Chestnut St. The Murder at the Museum experience is on Oct. 17, Haha, History! A Halloween Comedy Show is on Oct. 24, and family storytimes include Spooky Storytime for Kids! and Around the Fire: Ghost Stories Across Cultures on Oct. 30. The museum will also offer free admission on Oct. 31 to Press Start: A Vancouver Game History Pop-Up exhibit for anyone in costume.

Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver is running Canyon Frights from Oct. 9 to Nov. 1. One-day tickets start at $29.95 for children up to 12, $49.95 for teens up to 17, and $76.95 for adults, with student and senior pricing also available, and annual resident passes available for the same price as a one-day ticket. The attraction describes spooky lights and playful scares at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, with trails that include graveyards, pumpkins and glowing mycelium, plus elements such as watchful owls, glowing mushrooms along pond pathways and skeletal scenes.

MetroCon, a fan convention focused on horror, science fiction, fantasy, gaming, anime and cosplay, returns to Burnaby at a new larger venue—Simon Fraser University’s Convocation Mall—on Oct. 16 to 18. Ticket pricing varies, with weekend and single-day passes as well as student and VIP pricing.

The Nightmare Bar is scheduled for Oct. 8 to 31 at the Alibi Room, 157 Alexander St., Vancouver. Early bird tickets start at $15 plus tax and include a welcome drink, with VIP tickets offering guaranteed seating. The event description says each ticket includes a 90-minute immersive Halloween experience with themed cocktails and nibbles, interactive games, live entertainment, and appearances from Nightmare Bar’s resident ghosts, ghouls and creatures of the night.

In Maple Ridge, Meadows Family Farm hosts SITE 248, running Oct. 3 to 31. The attraction is at 12377 248 St., and general admission tickets start at $40, with Fast Pass tickets available for $50. The event is described as a high-intensity, fully immersive, touch-based industrial horror maze across multi-acre farm terrain, with live scare actors and multiple pathways designed to create different experiences each time; it is recommended for guests at least 16 years old due to intense themes, atmosphere and fear factor.

Flyover Canada in Vancouver is presenting Howlover from Oct. 15 to Nov. 1 daily from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Adults start at $35 depending on the day, and kids ride free Monday through Thursday. The attraction is described as a limited-run experience that returns without the “big scares,” using motion seats and a spherical screen for an adventure featuring spooktacular characters and multi-sensory effects such as wind, mist and scent. The event notes guests must be at least 40 inches (102 centimetres) to ride.

The Polygon Gallery in North Vancouver is hosting Halloween at the Polygon Gallery: A Demonic 80s Aerobic Party on Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Early bird general admission starts at $57.94, with VIP tickets also available. The event description says it will feature a high-octane 80s party with live acts and DJs throughout the building, along with a Beauty Bar for guests.
