Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan was photographed at Beat Street Records at 439 W Hastings St. this week.
The Story
Billy Corgan stopped by Beat Street Records in Vancouver, where the shop posted a photograph of the Smashing Pumpkins frontman posing in a teal Chicago Cubs hat and a black puffer jacket.
In the image, Corgan is shown holding Beat Street merch and making the “rock on” hand sign, also known as the sign of the horns.
Beat Street Records sells new and used records, as well as graffiti art supplies, DJ equipment and memorabilia.
The shop also said the Pumpkins visited Vancouver as part of their “Rats in a Cage” tour, with the band set to play at Rogers Arena on Thursday, Nov. 5.
The Smashing Pumpkins’ visit followed their widely known catalogue from the 1990s, including top singles such as “Bullet with Butterfly Wings,” “1979” and “Tonight, Tonight.”
