Nuggets’ Cameron Johnson clears injury report as Denver hosts Trail Blazers

Cameron Johnson has been left off the Nuggets’ injury report for Monday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Story

The Denver Nuggets enter Monday night’s matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers on a two-game winning streak and have moved back above .500 for the season after beating the Phoenix Suns over the weekend.

For Denver, the key development is health: starting forward Cameron Johnson, who missed the previous three games with a right ankle sprain, returned in the Nuggets’ win over the Suns and is now not listed on the injury report. Backup wing Alpha Diallo remains questionable with a right wrist sprain.

Denver’s full injury report lists Alpha Diallo as questionable (right wrist sprain), with Spencer Jones out (bilateral hamstring injury management) and Julian Strawther out (left knee sprain).

The Trail Blazers come in with a 4-1 record through five games, and their lone loss was to the undefeated Memphis Grizzlies. Portland is led by Deni Avdija and Damian Lillard.

Portland will be without guard Ja Morant for at least the next four weeks due to a left hamstring strain, and the team has also ruled out guard Shaedon Sharpe with right meniscus surgery. With Morant sidelined, Scoot Henderson is set to start alongside Lillard, Avdija, Toumani Camara and Donovan Clingan.

Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. MT in Denver.
