Rashee Rice ruled out for Chiefs’ Sunday night game vs. Seahawks with hamstring and knee issues

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been ruled out for the team’s Sunday night matchup against the Seattle Seahawks after missing practice for a second straight week.

The Story

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will not play in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks after being ruled out with hamstring and knee injuries, according to an Oct. 23 update shared by Underdog NFL.

Rice has missed practice for a second consecutive week. The injury originally surfaced in Week 4, when he left early with a hamstring problem, and he has not returned to practice since the Kansas City Week 5 bye.

Through his first three games, Rice recorded 13 catches on 17 targets for 190 yards and a touchdown, with no targets logged before exiting early in Week 4.

The Chiefs are also dealing with another receiver absence, with Tyquan Thornton listed as sidelined with an ankle injury. With Rice and Thornton out, the team’s top outside options mentioned in the available report include Xavier Worthy, Cyrus Allen and Jalen Royals, alongside tight end Travis Kelce.
