The Vancouver Canucks begin a busy stretch with a Tuesday rematch against the Anaheim Ducks at Rogers Arena as the NHL releases its ‘hometown remix’ jersey line.
The Story
Vancouver opens the week with a Tuesday game at Rogers Arena against the Anaheim Ducks, a rematch after the teams’ previous meeting. The Canucks have managed only one win in their last 13 games, making the timing of the rematch a critical test for the club.
After Tuesday’s game, the Canucks head on the road to Winnipeg for Thursday’s matchup against the NHL’s 28th-placed Jets. They then return to action next Saturday night, when a new start time of 8 p.m. puts them in a game against the Edmonton Oilers, described in the preview as the league’s number two team.
The NHL also released its ‘hometown remix’ jerseys on Monday, with the results described as clearly mixed. Vancouver’s version is black with a darker shade of blue, featuring what the preview calls a stealth-mode orca in deep blues with shining silver eyes, plus an abstract deboss of the skyline reflecting in the bay and a hem nod to the lions guarding Lions Gate Bridge.
Vancouver’s jersey also includes a custom name and number system with a V notch detail described as “handcrafted and hometown.” The team posted the release on social media with a Nov. 2, 2026 upload featuring “#VanAsOne.”
