Some fans responded by calling the Seahawks “classless” and saying the reigning Super Bowl champions “need to do better,” according to the comments referenced with the post.
The meme also landed with Taylor Swift fans because of her connection to NFL coverage through her relationship with Travis Kelce, which the source says began in 2023.
The source also says Swift has appeared in the NFL sphere since then, including coming onto the field in February 2024 after Kelce and the team won Super Bowl LVIII, and that the Seahawks post became a target for ridicule from Swift fans rather than just general sports banter.
