Bears earn rare NFL feat after back-to-back primetime wins, topping Seahawks 34-17

The Chicago Bears improved to 6-2 with a 34-17 Monday Night Football win over the Seattle Seahawks.

The Story

The Chicago Bears’ 34-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football came after a Thursday Night Football victory over the New England Patriots in Week 7, giving the Bears a rare historical accomplishment: they became the first team in NFL history to beat both Super Bowl participants from the previous season in back-to-back primetime games.

Caleb Williams threw for 247 yards and a touchdown in the win, while D’Andre Swift scored three rushing touchdowns to help Chicago secure the result.

With the victory, the Bears set up their next appearance as they will play their third straight primetime game in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football.
