Quebecor Inc. says its third-quarter profit and revenue increased compared with the same period a year earlier, supported by its telecommunications and media operations.
The company reported net income of $302.6 million, or $1.33 per share, for the quarter ended Sept. 30. That compares with a profit of $238.7 million, or $1.03 per share, in the third quarter of 2025.
On an adjusted basis, Quebecor said it earned $1.32 per share in its latest quarter, up from an adjusted profit of $1.05 per share a year earlier.
Revenue totalled $1.45 billion, up from $1.41 billion in the third quarter of 2025.
In segment results, telecommunications revenue was $1.27 billion, up from $1.22 billion year over year, while media revenue rose to $154.2 million from $152.1 million.
Quebecor also reported sports and entertainment revenue of $64.5 million, down from $68.3 million in the same quarter last year.
