A serious multi-vehicle crash closed Highway 99 just east of the Highway 91 interchange in Delta on Friday afternoon, according to Surrey police.
Dash cam footage showed a truck crossing the median and crashing into several cars, including a double-decker transit bus.
Surrey police said it was not known whether there were any serious injuries, and it was also not known if the bus was carrying any passengers.
Surrey Fire Services and BCEHS paramedics were on scene, police said.
Police said the route was expected to be closed for several hours. A DriveBC update also reported Highway 99 closed in both directions due to a vehicle incident south of Highway 91 in Delta.
