Vancouver-based lighting studio Bocci will host its annual Charity Warehouse Sale for one day on Oct. 16 at 495 Railway St.
The Story
Bocci is once again opening its Railway Street headquarters for its annual Charity Warehouse Sale, taking place Friday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 495 Railway St. in Vancouver.
The sale will feature a selection of seconds and samples from across Bocci’s lighting series, with shoppers able to buy one-of-a-kind pieces at significant discounts.
According to the sale details, 50% of proceeds will be donated to local charities, including the Sarah McLachlan School of Music and WIRTH.
Bocci says the company was founded in Vancouver in 2005 and that its sculptural lighting is designed and manufactured in Vancouver, bringing together local designers and makers under one roof.
The company also describes its approach as building from experiments with glass, metal and concrete, with pieces made by hand so that subtle variations are part of the character of the work.
Bocci notes that purchases are by credit card only and are final, with no refunds or returns.
