B.C. provincial leaders’ debate set for Oct. 14 with Eby, Doerkson and Emily Lowan

B.C. NDP leader David Eby, BC Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson and BC Green leader Emily Lowan will take part in a provincial leaders’ debate on Oct. 14.

The Story

A provincial leaders’ debate featuring B.C. NDP leader David Eby, BC Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson and BC Green Party leader Emily Lowan is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Shachi Kurl, president of the Angus Reid Institute, will moderate the debate.

The debate comes ahead of B.C.’s provincial election on Oct. 24.

The leaders’ debate follows the release of a final list of confirmed candidates by Elections BC. The BC Conservatives are running a full slate of 93 candidates, the BC NDP is running 92 candidates, the BC Greens have 73, and CentreBC and OneBC have 35 and 33 candidates, respectively.
