Four Bite Burger, a new slider concept by the Bovine Rice Bowls team, opens in Bentall Centre on Sept. 24.
The Story
A new burger concept from the team behind Bovine Rice Bowls is opening in downtown Vancouver. Four Bite Burger will debut inside the Bentall Centre food court with a grand opening scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24.
The founders, Jeremy Lau and Peter Yau, described the concept as filling what they see as a gap between “fancy and basic” burgers, centring the menu on simplicity and bite-sized items. Their approach features hand-crafted sliders designed for classic burger flavours with a set of consistent toppings.
Four Bite Burger’s core menu includes hand-crafted sliders available in packs of two, three or four, served alongside seasoned curly fries. The standard ground beef slider is described as a seasoned and cooked beef blend with thinly sliced onions, melted cheese and a house sauce on a steamed potato roll.
If diners want something other than the standard burger, the menu also includes grilled cheese sliders, crispy chicken strips, and fresh kale Caesar salads. The beverage lineup includes house-made iced tea and lemonade.
The kitchen will be led by chef Mario Regaldo, who has more than two decades of experience, while Kristi Koike—identified as a former Bovine kitchen manager—will support service in a front-of-house role.
Four Bite Burger is currently operating as a soft opening inside the Bentall Centre food court. The restaurant will operate Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the initial schedule.
The new location is in the Bentall Centre food court at 105-505 Burrard St., Vancouver, inside unit 105. The restaurant also has a public-facing Instagram account tied to the concept.
