Dominick Reyes, fresh off a first-round knockout win over Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi, launched a public online dispute with Daniel Cormier.
The Story
Dominick Reyes picked up a first-round knockout win over Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 333 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, and soon after the bout he directed criticism at longtime UFC Hall of Famer and color commentator Daniel Cormier.
According to Reyes’ posts on social media, he called Cormier a “low IQ hater” and added other remarks after watching his fight and other bouts on the card.
Cormier replied to Reyes, and the interaction escalated into a multi-message exchange on the platform.
Although Cormier stopped replying, Reyes continued pushing his perspective, saying he remains frustrated with Cormier and stands by his view that Cormier is underprepared when calling major fights on big cards.
