RBC and Canucks Sports & Entertainment announced Home Opener programming for the 2026-27 season at Rogers Arena, presented by RBC, set for Oct. 1, 2026.
The Story
Royal Bank of Canada and Canucks Sports & Entertainment will begin their 2026-27 season partnership with the Vancouver Canucks Home Opener presented by RBC on Oct. 1, 2026.
RBC said its “RBC Landing” at Rogers Arena will feature an outdoor fan gathering space with live musical performances, interactive contests, giveaways and brand activations. The bank also will distribute Canucks jersey blankets to the first 10,000 fans entering Rogers Arena on the night of the Home Opener.
The partnership includes cardholder offers for eligible RBC credit and debit cardholders, who can load an offer to receive a 15% statement credit on concession food and beverage purchases during events at Rogers Arena and Rogers Forum. RBC also said cardholders will have expedited venue access through RBC Priority Entrances by presenting a physical or digital RBC debit or credit card, with Gate 7 at Rogers Arena and Gate 2 at Rogers Forum.
RBC said Avion Rewards members can purchase tickets to any Canucks Sports & Entertainment event via Ticketmaster.ca using their Avion points, as part of a partnership extension with Live Nation Canada.
Later this month, RBC said the Abbotsford Canucks Home Opener presented by RBC will include promotional giveaways for fans on Oct. 17, 2026.
In venue upgrades, RBC described changes across multiple facilities tied to its CSE partnership, including RBC Summit Lounge and RBC Horizon Club at Rogers Arena, the RBC Signature Entrance and Level 200 for premium ticket holders through Gate 10, and an RBC Lounge at Rogers Forum that it said celebrates the historic legacy of Rogers Forum and Abbotsford.
For the broader season, RBC said it will serve as presenting sponsor of Community and Fan Engagement Nights throughout the 2026-27 season, including the Vancouver Canucks Lunar New Year Game and Fan Appreciation Night. RBC also said it will be the Presenting Partner of the Vancouver Warriors 2026-27 season, along with a presenting sponsor designation for select Warriors Game Nights.
Beyond game-day experiences, RBC said it will support community initiatives through its CSE partnership, including Junior Canucks Community Clinics and the Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF) Star of the Game presented by RBC. RBC also said it is a Major Sponsor of the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Association, hosting charity hockey games, fundraising events, community signings and exclusive experiences year-round.
RBC said it will donate $25 to the CFKF for every Canucks jersey with the RBC patch purchased at the Rogers Arena Team Store. The bank also said the RBC logo will appear on Vancouver Canucks home jerseys beginning this season, as part of its community commitment in British Columbia.
