Park & Tilford White Spot in North Vancouver reopens after makeover with wood-fired pizza and refreshed dining room

The North Vancouver White Spot at Park & Tilford reopened after a months-long renovation, adding a wood-fired pizza program while keeping its “Spot Classics” lineup.

The Story

The White Spot location at Park & Tilford in North Vancouver has reopened following a months-long makeover, with a refreshed interior and a revised menu.

The car-hop-style service remains in place, with diners able to park out back and have their meal brought right to their car.

Inside, the dining room has been opened up and redesigned to feel brighter and airier, while keeping a retro look through booth seating that has been reupholstered in light green striped fabric and large green tiles lining the floor.

The menu still includes “Spot Classics,” and also adds new items, including a hand-crafted pizza program made in a dedicated wood-fired oven that is available only at this location.

Among the new pizza options, the Bee Sting pizza is described with Roma tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, dry-cured pepperoni and chipotle hot honey.

Other new items mentioned include garlic-chili edamame, roasted and tossed in garlic-chili sauce with an aioli drizzle, along with a strawberry Dirty Soda described as a fruit-flavoured soda topped with creamy cold foam.

The refreshed menu visit also includes a Legendary burger with cheese and a side of Zoo Sticks, and the new Chicken Parmesan is described as B.C. chicken baked with Parmesan, mozzarella and tomato sauce, served with spaghetti tossed in garlic tomato sauce with arugula, chili flakes, cherry tomatoes and capers.
