NEW YORK — Dylan Garand made 32 saves and the New York Rangers ended a four-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory against the St. Louis Blues at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. New York improved to 8-7-1 overall and improved to 7-2-0 at home this season, while St. Louis fell to 7-7-1 despite having won its previous two games entering the matchup.

Eeli Tolvanen scored for the Rangers and added an assist, while Adam Fox and Oliver Bjorkstrand each found the net as part of New York’s scoring. J.T. Miller recorded two assists in the game. Garand, playing in his 10th straight game since No. 1 goalie Igor Shesterkin suffered a season-ending lower-body injury on Oct. 9, moved to 5-6-1 after the win.

The Rangers opened the scoring 1:49 into the second period when Adam Fox beat Joel Hofer with a wrist shot over the glove to make it 1-0 New York. The play featured a rush through the Blues’ zone that started with a pass from Miller, with Kartye breaking into the St. Louis zone before turning and finding Fox wide open down the middle for the finish.

Fox’s goal was his second of the season. The NHL game recap also noted that Fox has nine points over his past six games, including two goals and seven assists, underscoring his recent production.

New York then extended its advantage in the third period. At 9:01, the Rangers’ new third line—Will Cuylle at center between Oliver Bjorkstrand and Eeli Tolvanen—combined for the second goal of the game. Cuylle, playing center for the first time in his NHL career, began a tic-tac-toe sequence by passing to Tolvanen, who slid the puck to Bjorkstrand. Bjorkstrand converted with Hofer out of position to make it 2-0.

Oliver Bjorkstrand’s goal was his sixth of the season. Later, Tolvanen scored into the empty net at 17:59 to push the Rangers ahead 3-0 as the Blues pulled Hofer from the net.

Pius Suter was the lone Blues scorer. Suter ended Garand’s bid for a second shutout of the season with a goal at 19:01, cutting the deficit to 3-1 with time remaining. Hofer made 28 saves for St. Louis on the night.

New York also limited St. Louis’ special teams. The Rangers, entering Tuesday with the third-best penalty-kill percentage in the NHL at 89.1 percent, killed all five St. Louis power plays during the game.
