Burna Boy to headline Steelers–Saints halftime show in Paris

Burna Boy is returning to Stade de France, this time with an NFL halftime stage waiting for him. The league announced Thursday that the Nigerian artist will perform during the Pittsburgh Steelers–New Orleans Saints game in Paris on October 25.

The matchup will be the first NFL regular-season game played in France. Adding Burna Boy gives the occasion a performer with his own connection to the venue: he headlined Stade de France in April 2025. The announcement pairs a new stop on the NFL calendar with an artist who has already played one of the stadium’s biggest stages.

In the league’s release, Burna Boy described his earlier Paris appearance as a career highlight and said the return gives him an opportunity to represent African music. The NFL framed the choice around both his history at the stadium and the place African music holds in the city’s cultural life.

Paris is part of a broader international entertainment programme this season. According to the NFL, its 2026 international games will feature a record seven halftime shows across seven countries and four continents. Other announced performers include Ayra Starr in London, Pedro Sampaio and Ricky Martin in Rio de Janeiro, Cage The Elephant in Munich, and The Warning in Mexico City.

For fans following from France, the league says the full halftime performance will air live on France Télévisions and beIN Sports. L’Équipe is scheduled to show the game later that evening. The release does not set out Canadian viewing arrangements for the halftime show.
