The Wild improved to 11-3-3 overall, and were 5-0-1 over their previous six games, including their fifth consecutive win on the road.
Minnesota’s scoring featured Michael McCarron, Joel Eriksson Ek and Danila Yurov in addition to Boldy. Jesper Wallstedt made 23 saves for the Wild, while Tyson Foerster and Denver Barkey scored for Philadelphia. Dan Vladar stopped 18 shots for the Flyers, who fell to 4-9-4 and were 1-3-1 in their past five games.
The Wild established the lead early, scoring twice in the first period within 31 seconds. Boldy opened the scoring at 4:06 by beating Vladar from the high slot for a 1-0 lead. At 4:37, McCarron made it 2-0 after Blake Coleman’s backhand pass from behind the Flyers net bounced off Porter Martone’s skate and caromed to McCarron in front.
Minnesota then pushed further ahead early in the second period. Eriksson Ek scored 42 seconds into the middle frame after a sequence that featured a Flyers outlet attempt by defenseman Jamie Drysdale, with the puck remaining in the zone. Vladar stopped Boldy’s shot from the left circle before the rebound was kicked out to Eriksson Ek, who scored from in front to make it 3-0.
Philadelphia got one back later in the second period on a redirect. Foerster scored at 14:24 by redirecting Drysdale’s shot from the top of the offensive zone, cutting the deficit to 3-1.
The Flyers responded again in the third period with a power-play goal. Barkey scored at 1:48 on a one-timer from the slot to make it 3-2.
Yurov sealed the win for Minnesota with an empty-net goal at 18:36 to complete the 4-2 final score. The result gave the Wild their fifth straight road win while keeping their point streak at six games.
With the Flyers unable to erase the two-goal gap late, the focus shifts to the teams’ next outings following Tuesday’s results—Minnesota building on a stretch that has produced points in each of their last six, and Philadelphia looking to rebound from a recent run in which they went 1-3-1 over five games.
