Announced September 15 to mark Latino Heritage Month, the campaign will continue throughout the 2026 season.
One of its first projects is “The Specifics,” a video series on Mundo NFL in which players share the personal experiences and cultural details that shape their identities. The league says new episodes will appear weekly from September 15 through October 15. Participants include San Francisco 49ers players Fred Warner and Enrique Cruz, Cleveland Browns receiver KC Concepción, Tennessee Titans lineman Fernando Carmona, Baltimore Ravens tight end Josh Cuevas and Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Gabriel Rubio.
The campaign also includes “Where They’re Taking It,” a film connecting football with Latino communities across several countries. The NFL describes stories involving Christian González in his Texas hometown, Isiah Pacheco in Puerto Rico, Víctor Cruz in Madrid and flag football ambassador Gabi Bankhardt in Brazil. A second film, “New Places,” is planned for later in the season.
Beyond the videos, NFL Latino Youth Honors returns for a fourth year. The league says 61 student-athletes were nominated through its clubs, with a panel set to choose eight finalists representing the NFL’s eight divisions. Each finalist will receive a scholarship, with awards of $25,000 for the two national winners and $5,000 for each of the other six finalists. The programme also includes mentoring and career-development activities during Super Bowl LXI week in Los Angeles.
The announcement places those projects alongside the NFL’s expanding international schedule, including games in Brazil, Spain and Mexico. Clubs will also bring the campaign into game-day activities, community events and social coverage. Fans can follow the player series and campaign features through the league’s Por La Cultura hub.
